Top water sports and activities you should try in San Diego (Part 4)

Rowing

This is an interesting pastime for families with children because you can take your adventure children out on the water, but don’t worry about the speed of participation.

You will go as fast as you can pedal together. Paddle boats are a little harder to find, but rental companies by major resorts along the Bay of San Diego and La Jolla often have them.

Water park

Families with children may want a wetter design while in San Diego, and fortunately, San Diego County is home to two great water parks. First, there’s LEGO Legends of CHIMA Water Park, located in the famous amusement park, Legoland. You can upgrade your ticket to Legoland to include a pass to this interesting wet and wilderness area.

Wave Water Park in Vista (located 15 minutes east of Carlsbad and 45 minutes north of San Diego) is also a fun spot to slide and slide down the water pipes. Wave Water Park also has a lazy river, an underwater playground and a pool. Your children may also be attracted to driving lessons and fish swimming lessons.

Kona Kai Resort & Spa in Shelter Island

Kona Kai Resort & Spa in Shelter Island is a unique feature as it is also home to a marina and some water sports equipment. You can rent directly through the resort, including paddleboards, kayaks, electric boats, pedal boats and Jet Skis.

For a focused surfing beach ride, you’ll love the modern yet comfortable atmosphere of Tower 23 Hotel, which offers easy access to the surf spots of Pacific Beach. After a day of reception, guests can return to the hotel and use the spa to massage a relaxing massage on their tired muscles.

Up in North County San Diego, staying at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa will put you close to the water parks of Legoland and Vista, along with La Costa Lagoon. You will also be able to use Omni La Costa’s large pool to swim in the sun.
